Here’s a few answers to questions you may have before you make your booking. Feel free to give the park a call if we haven’t answered your question below.

See you in the trees soon!

What is Included?

The entry price covers a 2 hour session including equipment hire, training and use of all the courses for which you qualify. Minimum age to participate is 4yrs old. Your 2 hour session kicks off from the start of training, so we do ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your session.

During a session the average customers complete 2 or 3 courses dependent on individual capability and traffic during peak days.

Instructors will remain on the ground keeping a watchful eye as you trek through the trees, but you will be climbing independently with our state of the art interlocking safety system.

Please view more information on our Prices page.

Do I Need To Book?

Yes, bookings are essential!

We only have an allocated number of climbers up at one time so you can enjoy your time in the trees. We highly recommend making a booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Bookings can be made online and payment is required to make the booking.

For groups of 15 or more, please view the Groups menu above

What happens if it rains?

We are an all-weather activity, with the rain just being an added challenge to your climb. Please make sure you bring wet weather gear if the day it set for possible rain, maybe a change a clothes for the trip home. It can get muddy here along the paths, so avoid wearing your favourite outfit. Trees Adventure will only close during thunderstorms and strong winds. Please refer to our refund policy in our terms of use page.

What should I do for supervision when I have a mix of age groups?

To help keep all our participants safe, it is important that we have adult supervision for each age group. We recommend having adults who maintain a reasonable level of fitness as the higher courses can be physically demanding. Our instructors will be ready to assist on the course at any time.

4 – 7yrs: Require supervision from the ground at all times. We highly recommend having a separate non-paying adult who can walk around watching this age group. There is no adult participation on the yellow course.

8-12yrs: 1 paying participating adult ($48) per up to 4 kids between 8-12yrs is required. Supervisors must be 18yrs and over.

An extra participating adult is advised if you have a combination of both 8-9yrs and 10-12yrs. Alternatively, 8-9yrs can wait with a non-paying spectator from their group on the ground, while the adult proceeds up to the higher course with the older age groups.

13 – 17yrs: Do not require participating adults. We recommend a non-paying adult supervisor from the ground to be present onsite.

Can I watch without paying?

Most definitely! Spectators are free of charge and are welcome to enjoy the park from below. Tickets are only required for participants who are climbing the courses. We highly recommend that the adult ground supervisors for 4-7yrs, to be spectators who are able to walk up, down and around the paths when supervising. Spectators are also a choice as your photographer. Seating is limited, so feel free to bring along a camp chair!

What if my child isn't old enough but is tall enough?

Courses are restricted by age and all participants must be of the correct age to attempt a course. Children must be booked according to their age group.

What should I wear?

Participants are required to wear enclosed shoes, such as sneakers, in order to participate. You should wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. Skirts and dresses are not advised. Long hair must be tied back. Gloves are provided but you’re welcome to bring your own gloves or purchase your own pair at checkin.

Can I cancel?

Trees Adventure is a most-weather event and operated rain, hail or shine.

Full refunds and free reschedules are available outside 10 days of your booking.
Cancellations made between 2-10 days from the scheduled booking date will be entitled to a 50% refund or incur a 20% fee to reschedule.
Cancellations made within 2 days including no shows will forfeit the entire booking.

In the event that Trees Adventure cancels your session for any reason, you will be informed immediately. You will be entitled to ask for a full refund or to book a new date. In the instance you have already started your session and Trees Adventure is forced to close the Park, you will be entitled to a new booking if you are less than halfway through the session.

Are there height or weight restrictions?

Yes, our maximum weight is 130kg to participate. The courses are based on the age of the participant, and each participant must be of age to attempt the course. Please contact the park directly if you need to discuss further.

Are there lockers?

Yes! Lockers are free to use but have limited space for mainly small and compact items. It’s best to avoid large bags but these can be left next to the Home Tree to access water and snacks. We recommend bringing along only what you need for your session.

Can I bring my phone, camera or GoPro?

Only phones and cameras with secure lanyards attached can be permitted on the course. These included wrist or neck lanyards and must be approved by our staff first.

GoPro’s are more than welcomed to be used! We permit chest, wrist and helmet mounts to be used. Bring along your helmet mount attachment! A few of our helmets are fitted with the matching adhesive mount ready for your GoPro to click straight in!

Can I bring my own safety equipment?

Unfortunately not. Only our equipment can be used on the courses for safety reasons. You are welcome to bring your own gloves provided that they will offer proper protection while you’re climbing.

Do I need to do training or sign a waiver if I've been before?

We certainly need you to do both! Waivers are required for each visit. Our courses may have changed between your visits and completing training ensures you’ve been updated on any changes. Please don’t hesitate to let our instructors know you’ve been to a Trees Adventure park before! We will do our best to help you get to the courses you’re looking to do on your return visit.

How many courses can I do?

We want you to complete as many as your 2 hour session allows! After training, participants will have approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes of climbing time. On average participants will complete 2-3 courses, but this also depends on what level of difficulty they choose and number of customers we have climbing around you too!

To help us get the most out of your session, an early arrival of 30min prior is important.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately because some of our parks are located in national parks, which are home to rare native and wild species, dogs are not permitted onsite. We advise not to leave your dog in the car during your session. Whilst you may be having a great time up in the trees, the 2-3 hour wait can be quite stressful for your furry family member.
